Willow Blue Australia Pty Ltd specialises in growing and processing English Willow (Salix Alba Caerulea) for cricket bats. The timber is sourced from various Willow Blue growers including, the A.C. MacLaren Plantation at Healesville in the Yarra Valley and the Willow Blue Farm at Sale and Mirboo North in Gippsland Victoria. The progeny of these plantations dates back to 1902. This means the timber retains the original characteristic of that progeny, as well as holding its own unique qualities.

Willow Blue timber can only be sold to accredited Willow Blue Bat Makers. They are those who have completed and qualified from a Bat Making Course, conducted under the guidance of Master Bat Maker and former Test Cricketer Ian Callen.
